1. History + Facts

In 2018, Governor Phil Bryant passed The Gestational Act that bans abortions after 15 weeks of gestation unless medical emergencies occur.

No exceptions for victims of rape or incest.

Recently, Bryant has banned abortions once doctors can detect a trace of a fetal heartbeat with ultrasound which can be as early as six weeks into pregnancy.

2. “My Body, My Choice”

The recent state laws that’s enforcing new and heavy restrictions against abortions has resulted in the pro-choice movement, and the slogan “my body, my choice” is promoted.

3. Our Campaign Goals

My campaign trust women’s reproductive decision-making. The decision to terminate a pregnancy should be left in the hands of the family and doctors. I also believe that banning abortions put women in danger. Studies have shown that it can put women at risk of mental health breakdowns, and also drive women to seek help from someone that is not qualified to complete the procedure.
